Today Syd has talented comedian Matt Rife on her show. Matt moved to LA from Ohio to peruse comedy at the age of 17. He finished his senior year of high school early and moved here with only a few dollars to his name. He crashed with friends and couched surfed while religiously attending LA comedy clubs. He was able to network his way to some stage time and after a few years his career took off. He’s toured the country with Ralphie May, Eric Griffin, Mike Epps, Dane Cook and has shared the stage with hundreds of other successful comics. Matt can also be found on MTV2’s Wild N’ Out. In this episode Syd and Matt discuss where comedic inspiration comes from, networking with comics, dating, favorite comedy clubs and hecklers.
